No. Once an ordinance is passed, the signs must be placed and and the ordinance published before the roads are open to ATV/UTV travel. Join a local club.
You will need to see your local ordinance to know which roads are open and closed. Typically if a Village, Township, or City open their roads to ATV/UTV traffic, ONLY public roadways with jurisdiction of that municipality is open. Any State (Numbered ie: 32, 57, 28) or County roads (Lettered ie: I, K, D) are only open if posted or 35 mph or less within the municipality. Check with your local municipality if you have questions before you ride. Know BEFORE you ride.
No. Only open roadways can be traveled by ATV/UTVs. Check your local ordinance to see which roadways are open.
Depends. Check to see if your local municipality has adapted a ATV/UTV ordinance. If they have, check to make sure the route you plan to take to your neighbors home is open for riding. Remember, only public road ways are open to travel and never cross private property without permission of the land owner.
